Lagrange Aparthotel Lyon Lumière

We booked this hotel because of its proximity to Metro Line D which leads directly into the Old City along with a reasonable price and available underground parking. Room and bed were clean and comfortable. We opted for 12 Euro breakfast which was decent. It is near interesting Lumiere Museum. There aren’t a lot of restaurant choices nearby. 24 hour staff was always friendly and helpful.

Excellent value and as described. Basic, but very clean accommodation providing a good base from where to explore Lyon. The room was quiet and bed very comfortable. Plenty of storage, small kitchenette if needed, good size bathroom with shower over bath. Hand soap, toilet rolls & towels provided. Replacement towels available from reception if required. The breakfast room was light, airy and very clean. A cold buffet breakfast was fresh & plentiful.

Location is out of the city centre but close to a metro station. The best thing was how quiet it was with the room overlooking an inner courtyard. The air-conditioning was excellent, quiet and effective. This was key in the exceptionally hot summer days. The apartment had everything needed for an 'at home' type of stay including kitchen appliances and utensils. Comfortable large bed. I did not take the breakfast and am grateful to the nice lady who managed it as she let me have tea and coffee on occasion. There are cafes, bistros and grocery stores nearby. The hotel also offers underground parking for extra charge.

Recommend. I would stay here again. Very nice size room (2 twin beds). I liked the en-suite kitchen and table. Bed was comfy and pillows were sufficient. Air Conditioning worked well (as outside temperatures were high 70s/low 80s with humidity). Loved the 2 baths; one stand-up shower and one tub with shower nozzle. Quiet (on 4th floor) neighborhood. A very nice breakfast setup for 12€, worth it. Has parking garage (although did not use). Public Transportation: Right in between 2 Metro (M) stops; about a 2min walk to Monplaisir-Lumiere station. About a 12min walk to Tram (T) station Manufacture Montluc which gets you to Lyon Part-Dieu.

The apartment was really well equipped. There is small kitchen with all utensils you need. The bath and the toilet are separate what we really appreciated. The parking is in underground which is really good, especially in summer. The location is great. There is a metro station next to the hotel which leads directly in the historical centre.
